ABOUT SCANDINAVIA MODERN
The shop opened in April 2021. The "Since 2018" is listed as a shop was activated that year.
It was inactive up until April 2021, when it opened with only a few (personal collectables) items available.
The assortment reflects my passion for Scandinavian art deco, functionalism and mid-century modern interior.
To create an eclectic home, simply mix pieces from different style periods, to create great contrast.
Personally I love mixing mid-century and functionalism, and adding a few art deco pieces, such as a light fixture or a wall sconce.
I have a great passion for Swedish and Danish 1930-1960s lighting. In particular pieces from top tier manufacturers such as Nordiska Kompaniet, Boréns, Böhlmarks, Lyfa, Louis Poulsen and Fog Mørup.
- All the items are handpicked and not purchased in lower price ranges.
They are bought from Swedish and Danish vintage dealers, private collectors and auction houses.

- I do not operate with over-pricing
- You never have to pay high (and often unreasonably high) shipping costs. Here, you always have free shipping on all orders, no matter where you live. Free worldwide shipping on all orders. Tracking and insurance included.
- Items are never listed with inaccurate descriptions or misleading photos.
Even the smallest mark is included in the listing description / photos.
You do not have to worry about if the item is going to be in another condition than described and displayed.
- Items are carefully cleaned and always "fresh."
I have, as a consumer myself, received both dusty and dirty items. This is in my opinion unacceptable.
- You will never have to scroll past hundreds of less attractive items listed for the wrong reason. Here, you find nothing but great (and often rare) high quality items.
REGARDING OVERSEAS SHIPPING
Purchasing from overseas shops can for some people cause concerns in regards to shipping.
Here, you never have to worry about your items getting damaged during shipping.
All goods are packed with utmost care. If it, against all odds, should happen that your ordered item gets damaged, you will, without exceptions, receive a full refund. The only thing needed is an image of your ordered items and the original packaging.
